Ted is a regular guy who seems to have it all - a job with no future, a friend, a girlfriend, and debilitating anxiety that prevents him from getting into a car. His therapist and prescriptions offer little comfort.Thanks to a promise made in youth, his long-dead ex-girlfriend has returned to Earth as a sentient teddy bear to help him out. To Ted, she looks the same way she did the last time he saw her, but everyone else sees only the bear.
