I had watched this 2010 movie after the first one from 2008. It's odd to have a remake in such close a time frame; but, in the world of North Americanizing movies from England I guess even a bit of money is good in bad times. The original 2008 is much better if you have a choice and the story line is the same which makes the 2010 movie a darker version of the the same thing. Over all a good story.

The movie was hilarious. Once they lock the midget up it gets even better than it already could be. Must watch. Sooo funny, my whole family agrees.

It had a some (like maybe 3 or so) funny moments but I wished I would have spent my money on another movie instead or stayed home watching a rental.

Wait for the DVD and do not expect too much. I tried to enjoy it but couldn't. I am being generous by giving this movie a 4 out of 10.

This is GAWD AWFUL!!! Stay away like the plague. What a ripoff... shame on Hollywood for taking advantage of the movie-going public who went bcuz they saw Chris Rock in the credits.

Hater! Haters! Haters! Chris Rock is a great black actor/comedian, love it or hate, it doesn't matter. I can see that some people are just haters. Can you do what they do; no so why hate these actors. They acted what was written. We are just in the theatre to watch, so watch and say thank you. Love me or hate me, do I care?

Garbage total Garbage! I can't believe how desperate these actors must have been to act in such a piece of thrash... the theater was full, but no one was laughing their heads off, except for one woman, who must've tipped back a few before going!!!

One of the best comedy of all times. I really laugh to death! What a good combination of commedians! I've never laughed and seen such a very hilarious movie. The movie goers are laughing like syncronized symphony orchestra, like waves of laughs inside the movie house! Great comedy movie! I strongly recommended to my friends to see this movie and they did! We all really laugh to death!

Why would they remake such a great British comedy only 5 years after the original? What a waste of time and money!! Please rent the original!! You could not pay me to see this garbage again!

Just rent the British version. The original one is really funny. I still can't understand why Hollywood decided to remake a movie that is only what, 5 years old, and is in English already. They even used the same little man from the original! Chris Rock should stick with minor parts in movies and/or stand up comedy.

I thought the movie was okay, considering the macabre movie plot. I was NOT in constant belly laughs, but there were a few good one-liners and comedic episodes where someone is accidentally given physio-mind-altering drugs.

I Wish! It should have been the death of the movie before it was made. I thought it may have been ok but now I wish I could sue the producers for my price of admission. Life would have been better if this was just shelved and left as a bad idea instead of being made.

This is one of those films for a light laughter. Chris Rock plays his character very nicely, so does Martin Lawrence, I enjoyed Danny Glover more than his care taker. All in all, it was time well spent for a light comedic picture, begins and ends in one place, easy to follow and track the characters.

If you're in the mood to laugh or you'd like to be in the mood to laugh - then see this movie. I didn't know what to expect but Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence in a movie should have told me. This is not a movie that will show great insights into the problems of the world but after a good laugh you may come up with some of your own.

Remake or no remake this movie is bad no matter how you slice it. What's with some of these black comedies? It is better than "little man", another terrible black comedy but other than that! COME ON Chris Rock get it together, you're much funnier than this!

Why they needed a remake of the original British movie directed by Frank Oz baffles the mind. Oz original was fresh, smart writing that subverted it's material with such a sacred occassion in any family's life. This new director made an unfunny by-the-numbers remake of a film that is still fresh in a lot of peoples mind. Chris Rock has never been funny and never will. A total waste of my time.
