This is a true fairytale story. He was at the right tome and at the right place. They were extremely lucky to have found each other. Amazing to think that this was based on a true story.

She took him home. No questions asked except "Do you have a place to stay tonight? ". That was all that was needed. She saw something in him that even he did not see. I thought it was going to be a football movie and that's why I wanted to see it. But it was more than that. It was about unconditional love & acceptance. All he had to do was try. Great movie!

Wow... Such an amazing and touching story. The fact that it is not fictional but based on a real life situational made it even more powerful for me... Don't be misled by the title of the movie because this is a diamond in the rough. The acting is superb - especially by Sandra Bullock, who is extraordinary in the role she represents. Now; if more Christians were like this, setting this kind of example for the world to both, experience and see, they would be surely, making this world a much better place to live in. Be sure not to miss this one - it's an excellent movie.

This had to be one of the best movies I've seen in some time. I watch Micheal Other play every week during the NFL season and during the NCAA season when he was at Mississippi State so this movie was very special to me. How this man did what he did and the family that helped him along the way was inspiring to say the least and warmed my heart the whole way through. This is a must see not only for fans of football and Micheal Others but just a fan of the beautiful and unexpected things that can happen in life and a reminder of how we all should live.

Pretty formulaic but still well done and heartwarming true story – Sandra Bullock is one hot mama … and did a pretty great job although her role seemed to have a “one note” thread to it … the thread of determination … there's also a lot to be said about the fortune or misfortune one has depending on what side of town a person is born in.
