I don't get how anyone could say this was a "good movie". It was on the border between "weird" and "stupid". I only went to see it because it's set in Montreal, but even to see it just for that reason is not a good idea!

If you were ever into the montreal after-hours scene then you will definiteLY be able to indentify with the characters. On the other hand it is so lame when one of the characters reveals this sort-of magical ability he has. Overall: some cool club-scenes but too much unecessary cheesy sparkles.

Definitely a good movie for a 12-25 audience. The look and feel of this movie is an 8 or 8.5 - great production value with a great sound track. However, the story deserves a 4 or 5 at the most - there are a few irrelevant sub plots and an unbelievable, or even likable, climax. Even though I felt it hard to like some of the characters, I do think that the acting was quite good. All-in-all, a good movie, worth seeing, even just to support the local film industry.

Cartured my attention from the beginning. I was so into the movie I didn't even think of eating the junk food I smuggled in. Great movie and should be seen by all young adults..

I loved watching this movie. The music just makes you want to dance and you yearn to learn more about the characters, their pasts and future choices. Unlike many movies I've seen lately, this one has a reassuring and hopeful ending, one that leaves you humming to live and love.

This movie will touch the hearts and minds of the 18-30 age group. It resonates with issues they are facing in a realistic and palpitable fashion. The local filming also makes it that much more realistic as we recognize sites and scenes from our city. The added twist keeps the audience intrigued. The movie has everything; sex, action, drama - just like real life. It reminded me of movies before the advent of special effects, where the characters, rather than the effects, carried the story. It is also the type of movie that stimulates discussion afterward. A real jewel that highlights local talent.

Although the movie as a whole was OK, the writing was a little off: Completely incredible car accident, Josh's character is really weird (what powers does he have? ), Laval is NOT that far away from Montreal, and no, you do NOT have to choose between partying and responsibility... just party responsibly. Loved the Montreal connection throughout the movie and the soundtrack is great. By the way, that is not the way you spell "Concordia University".

I am happy to finally see a movie where Quebec is depicted with such great visuals and nightlife. It's not often we see independent Quebec movies make it to the bigscreen. It was very well directed with a unique style of presentation. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves. If you want to see a movie that is not mainstream but is a breath of fresh air, take a chance on this one. It's worth it.

I was expecting a little bit more from this film. In my experience, some of the allure of afters is the sketchiness of it all, and this wasn't really shown in the film. Aria almost looked like heaven on earth in the movie - hahahaha. It was a little simple - why does someone have to choose between partying and school / work? If you're a professional, you need to take a sabbatical to party? I know many people who balance both and balance them well. The film's climax lost me too. I don't want to give it away, but I thought it was pretty cheesy. The male characters seemed overpowered by the female leads, making their relationships unbelievable - especially Ricky and Angie's relationship. However, the film had some nice visual effects, and a good soundtrack, and a couple of steamy sex scenes. What was said at the club while they were dancing was also really nice, how it brings people together.

Lovely to finally see an english Québec movie! Poetic, with a great sountrack and amazing visuals. Great cast! A portrait of a generation rarely represented at the movies.

A wonderfull english language film, that captures the essence of Quebec cinema, the only kind that we have that makes it to the Oscars. Robert Crooks was also great in the challenging role of Ricky.
