This movie was astounding. Loved the concept of it. Can't say more but go see it as it was really good.

MINORITY REPORT is Spileberg's most inventive and mindbending sci-fi film. Once again Tom is on the run, such as THE FIRM, MISSION:IMPOSSIBLE and once again in MINORITY REPORT. This is the best P. K. Dick movie since BLADE RUNNER and TOTAL RECALL. The set-pieces are extremely visually complex. The paranormal sequences by the pre-cogs are put together with sophisticated skill. Tom's performance is his best since the paranoia Tom exhibited in THE FIRM. The story is deleriously convoluted with a by-the-numbers ending. This is the sci-fi film De Palma never directed.

Very interesting story and plot line and is well presented on-screen. Definitely one of the best movies of this decade.

This is the best movie of the futur ever. Directer Steven Spielberg did a very good job with this movie. The action and thev acting by Tom Cruise is very good I don't know why he didn't get an award for this but at least it did good at the box office.

One ending away from being a great movie. Throughout the film it was slick and surprising and a great journey. Then it wraps itself up way too neatly and makes a very bland statement about individual freedom that's a complete whitewash. Leave the movie with 5 minutes left, It's much better that way.

Colin Farrell was hot and sexy as usual! Hehe but I didnt care for it, it was really creepy, but I would watch it again just for Colin Farrell.

Oh! God! Did I like it? Of course! It's certainly - for me - one of the best movies of the year. Cruise is, like always, a great actor despite the cliché about the guy who loses his son... snif, snif. How common! On the other hand, we see - for the third time (is it?) - the young Collin Farrell, which is really a good actor, and pardon me for my lack of professionalism... too cute. Really! Look at his killer face saying: ''Wha'r ya lookin' at''!! It's a must see movie, even if the end is a bit cheap. Spilberg, you really surprised me... again!

Minority Report, had heard nothing but bad things about it before seeing it, But the girlfriend insisted that we watch it together, what guy wouldn't do that on a friday night? Well it was awesome, much better than I expected! The girl gets a little scared, the guy likes! Overall one the best I have seen in a while!

Anyone who complained about the product placement need to take a step back. Not only were those parts of the film interesting, they weren't meant to be subtle like in Bond films. The whole point was they consumed daily activity. Yes the ending has been done before, but rarely this well. Cruise is the best leading man in film today and Spielberg the best director. Anyone who gets joy out of bashing them are just jealous because they're dominating their respective fields. Amazing film.

There is not a low enough rating that I could give this movie. It was probably the worst movie I've had the misfortune of watching this year. I would describe it as a combination of cliche Sci phy and cop tragedies flics rendered into two hours and fifteen minutes of mindless drivel. Please do not waste your money on this film, you'd be better off staying home to an evening of V. I. P.

Saw the movie last night at a cheap theatre ($3) and I'm glad I didn't pay more. As most others have noted here the effects were fantastic, but that's about where the great stuff ended. I question reviewers who gave a 9 or 10/10 - does this really rank with the *best* movies you've ever seen? If so, I suggest getting out more often. But back to my cranky review - the plot worked - in parts. The acting worked - in parts. The pacing worked - in parts. Get the idea? It's as if this movie was directed by 3 different people. For example, the scene where he's suddenly jumping from car to car!?!? Or when he had the fistfight in the car shop with his nemesis!?!?! I felt like I'd suddenly stepped into a different movie. Other plot problems - after he was being hunted, why didn't they take away his eye-recognition pass? This is 1 example of many of the problems I had with the film. Others:(I) can Hollywood please stop it with the ad placements? God good - this was worse than a Bond movie! (ii) why the happily-ever-after/ your dead son now lives in "heaven" ending? Not necessary and boring. Where was the challange in this movie? I could rant on but I won't. I have to try and get my 2 1/2 hours back...

A slickly produced film that has no soul or authenticity... I didn't care about the story, the characters or the action. This lack of engagement becomes rather brutal because this film is over two-and-a-half hours long! I just wanted my personal freedom back by the time the last reel went through the projector. Tom Cruise plays himself again for the umpteenth time in a picture that runs out of steam and becomes a different movie two-thirds of the way through. Only at that point does Steven Spielberg's trademark story and directing style really comes through, but by then it's to late to ask for your money back.

In. Two and a quarter hours of my life I will NEVER get back. Spielberg is so predictable, well for that matter so are the roles Tom Cruise takes on, that its seriously painful to watch. I believe I witnessed every bad cliche hollywood has installed in films last nite. The worst being the 'sketchy eastern european' couple willing to do anything to survive in what is meant to be the year 2054 or something 'futuristic'. horrendous display of logo placement made in jest but really, it was a full blown commercial complete with 'special effects' that are meant to be the test of quality for the majority of people. I hope not though. Seriously though, I could go on about how bad this film really is but you've probably received the message by now. Out.

I thought that in this Steven Spielberg film, there were some really imaginitive pieces. The cast is great, especially with Neal McDonough! If you liked "A. I", you would probably like "Minority Report." The end drags on a bit, but don't let that ruin the movie for you. It's a visual feast, and Neal and Tom help out with that! ;)

Spielberg can go on making crap films as long as people pay for it, but why does he have to mutilate the works of excellent writers like Brian Aldiss and Philip K. Dick?

I went to see this movie a couple of weeks ago and I can't remember the story line anymore, that's how much of an impact the movie had on me. I know, I was expecting alot from this movie with Spielberg and Tom Cruise on board and after two and half hours of sitting through this movie I can't remember what the movie was all about... Oh yes, I remember Tom Cruise.

Well I thought it was a pretty good movie... Sure there were some spots that were really unrealistic. Sure it's kinda crazy how in 50 years the roads changed so much, and the clothes didn't. In real time the clothes styles change pratically every 10 years.. But I wouldn't wait till it was on video, if you have a cheap theatre near by. Cuz if you don't think it is great, well, 2$ isn't a big loss is it?

Nice movie. Not as good as A.I. in my opinion, but there's a definite message being sent to us in this movie as well. And as always with Spielberg movies, nothing bad to say about the special effects.

The cinematography and special fx lend a superb quality to this take on a Philip K. Dick story. Definitely suspend your disbelief as you are taken on a suspenseful trip through a very inplausable tale. Lots of eye candy and very cool sci-fi concepts.

It's ok. But all the time it feels like Spielberg is expermenting with newer story-lines. The idea is very trivial though the story does have some unpredictable moments. Most parts are very unrelalistic very, very immature. Still, I love Spielberg and I would watch anything he makes.

Garbage. Unlike the Bourne Identity which I thought was superb, this on the other hand is drivvel. And to boot, Hollywood takes a scarecly believable plot and story, and in the last 30 minutes completely destroys the whole point to the film. Special effects are transparent just to ad to the already questionable film. Tom Cruse is as always good, as are the rest of the actors. Its just the actual film itself is garbage. Worth watching at home. Not worth $12.

I felt as though I was in a futuristic dreamland the whole time. Tom Cruise is brilliant and deadly in this film. Spielberg is still reaching though... This film will certainly go down as the greatest movie in the history of modern post-war film production.
