It was pretty good. Two thumbs up.

No wonder it wasn't long on the big screen. There is unneeded violence and gore, the story isn't very developped, and the end is basically an insult to moviegoers (or dvd renters) Just like the Box's "the aliens did it".

The concept of this movie was kind of cool, but it was poorly written and executed. There were some entertaining parts in the film, but they were few and far between. See the movie if someone else is dishing out the cash to see it.

Three big twists during the movie kept me guessing the whole way through. Decent acting, but the story was great. A new take on a plot that has been done several times.

Jude Law seemed robotic at times. Whitaker and Law are usually great actors but perhaps would have been better served to have skipped this script. A story with a twist ending that was somewhat predictable. I found myself continuously checking the time as this movie almost hit the 2 hour mark. An otherwise wonderful cast was wasted on this film.

Pretty good "Total Recall" type story line! I liked it!

I don't know who could possibly give this movie a low rating hope this brings it up, masterfully thought name says it all tho repo-ing human organs is extra gruesome, gory at times if you can't stand the sight of blood or violence not recommended for the weak hearted. Excellent movie a must see. The movie takes you in a wild ride behind the business or repo-ing with twists and turns along the way. Buy some pop-corn and enjoy the wild ride.

The movie was great, the end represented unfortunately the strength of the money over people lives and morality. The story was interesting; the main characters played well.

Great movie, with a very surprising ending. Whitaker and Law acted quite well in the movie. Go watch this movie! :D

I don't know why people are complaining about bloods and cuts when this is a remake of a movie seriously get your facts straight. Like the surrogates and gamer and lots of movies, the concept is really cool and interesting but just very poorly executed, the 2nd half of the movie is basically terrible, a bit like hell boy. Worth renting.

I don't see why people are complaining about the amount of blood. Why do you think it's rated 16+? It's obvious it's not for the faintest of hearts. I found that movie very enjoyable. The story was nice and the actors were wonderful. The ending totally makes up for the slower scenes in the middle of the movie.

I don't understand the poor rating and criticism. This is a terrific movie. Great acting and interesting story. The ending blew me away. I kept me thinking about it. Good show!

An all time low for humanity dignity, this movie STINKS! Don't waste your money, give it to someone in real need instead.

The idea is not bad but the movie seems so slow for a action movie. I love the end, it s unpredictable.

Total rip off of a much better movie called Repo the Genetic Opera. If you're looking for a great movie give that one a rent.

I don't really understand all the negative comments on here. I went in expecting something really bad due to the reviews but decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did because it was very entertaining and quite good. Someone on here said it was too bloody but the movie is about a repo men taking back organs so it was kinda of expected. I found the action to be good and the acting good. The storyline is good enough to keep you interested all the way to the end. Overall I'm glad I saw it and I will buy the DVD. I truly don't understand the reviews!

How the director thought that cutting into someones body and scanning their organs is sexy and erotic is beyond me! This movie is ridiculous and I wanted to walk out many times. I chose to just nod off a coupple of times to spare my brain cells. Some parts actually made me angry. In one part the woman is cutting open the guys stomack open and this was turning him on and he started nibbling on her earlobe!!! W.T.F? Seriously. Giving this movie a 1 is too high. I actually give it a zero (0)

It's a serious question... what happens when somebody can't make the payments on a vital but extremely expensive life-support system? However the answer this movie presents... repo men stealing into your house, tasering you, and removing the artificial organ with fatal results... is absurd and silly. Unfortunately this movie doesn't play it for laughs, instead taking the absurdity very seriously. It doesn't really work. The movie has lots of good bits... good acting, believable and involving characters, some great action sequences... I am totally in love with Jude Law as an action star. However the essential silliness of the premise spoiled the reset of it, and the telegraphed twist ending was disappointing. In general there was just too much unfunny black humour, and pointless, targetless satire. A waste of talent and money. Too bad... I was looking forward to this one.

Why the heck are ratings so low?! I LOVED the movie, the end is UNPREDICTABLE... I wasn't expecting that ending to be honest. Seems to me that you will either hate or love the movie. I'm in the latter category.

Fits into its own category. Worth seeing in theater. Interesting plot line, but the gore is slightly overboard. Not recommended for squeamish... Or "squeaky" audiences for that matter.

This is NOT an action movie, it's a well crafted drama in disguise. Set in a post-mortem corporate genocide, greed has infected the line between humanity and murder. Our organs have become a product and our will to live traded in for a line of credit with a digital mainframe patrolled by Repo Men. Jude Law and Forest Whitaker play their brotherhood out in a perfect cold sublime. Though the fault lies within the lack of suspense. Intertwined with dark humour and excessive gore, the hope to save this film was put into the introduction of a love interest. This attempt failed.

Went in not expecting much except yummy Jude Law and an action movie but was pleasantly surprised-ish! Reading the other critics, I agree with most of them; Whitaker playing a great sociopath and the chemistry among the 3 main characters is paying off. I got taken in and started seing the incoherences late. This movie is Fantasia worth materila and it's hard to reinvent the genre. Fans will see references to Gattaca and Vanilla sky as well as the very "in your face" gore imported from Japan. There are some long periods but the begining and the end are very efficient. I enjoyed the questions it raises and the dark possibilities it shows. I predict more of the same type in the future, not all so well shot. There is such a thing as too much gore however, and it was laughable towards the end and lost some credibility.

OH MY GOD I cannot believe the reviews that I'm reading... 10? 9? Good action scenes? WHAT ACTION?! Stabbing while making love? Holly sh**t I wish I would've given the money to somebody for an exchange of a punch in the nose... that would have been so much more entertaining than that movie. Pure torture, please, please don't waste your time. I'm getting mad just thinking about the money and time I wasted. And as we speak I'm looking up the person that created this movie, so that I can spit at my computer screen when I see his face.

Definitely one the worst movies this year so far, unless Eddie Murphy decides to come out with something worse. The script was poorly written and despite having some decent actors, they just couldn't make this movie any better. Don't spend money for the ticket. Better stay home watch "Bachelor", it has a better plot than this.

It is a great movie. I am suprised the rating is so low. I expected a horrible movie but came out thinking. The action is bloody but sick. If you like action you gotta see this movie. The story is not what you think. Again go see it.
