Funny, entertaining, and a great fairytale adventure. Shrek delivers, but doesn't amaze.

A very good, adventure, fantasy, comedy type movie. I really liked it!

Simply the best classic (better than shrek 2) it is addicting; I can watch it twice every day without getting bored!

If you didn't know it all ready, this movie is funny. Eddie Murphy's Donkey is hilarious. And although I'm actually quite sick of both Shrek and Shrek 2 I remember a time when they were the funniest movies ever to me, and although that has changed and their are at least 10 other even more funny movies then the Shrek series, they still can bring joy to kids and parents alike, for this they both get a 9 out of 10.

It is my favorite movie! I watch it all the time, and it's a good one to take babysitting. Adults and kids can watch it together and they both appreciate it on different levels!

Shrek is hilarious in so many ways. I love this movie because it sticks it to Disney. In recent years I grown to dislike Disney movies with the expection of Pixar movies. This movie never let me start laughing. Its been over two years since we bought and we still watch it. This movie is irrestible. A must-see and a must-own. This my most favorite movie of all-time, second is Finding Nemo, third Ice Age, forth Monster's Inc. , and in a solid, deserving fifth Toy Story 1/2. However when Shrek 2 comes out this year that will probably change.

The remote does overtime when watching Tv, but it stopped at a rerun of the marvelous movie SHREK. First time around I loved it and, although the small screen can never do it justice, it's beautiful memories are still with me. The characters in combination with the lines and voice characterizations provided by Myers, Diaz and especially Eddie Murphy make this animated film come alive. The twist on the Sleeping Beauty motif, including Ogre-like actions while the Princess was awake, were a delight. A GREAT movie.
